Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness, including intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. It helps the body and the mind work together. Exposing children to music during early development helps them learn the sounds and meanings of words.

Children of all ages express themselves through music. Even young infants sway, bounce, or move their hands in response to music. Many pre-schoolers make up songs and, with no self-consciousness, sing to themselves as they play.

Parents Centre Music and Movement sessions are also great for you as a parent to get out of the house and interact with other parents, have a cuppa, and make friends.
