Liz Pearce first became involved with Parents Centre Aotearoa in 1998 attending antenatal classes with her first pregnancy. Her experience was so valuable that she wanted to ‘give back’, volunteering for several years before becoming a Childbirth Educator.
Liz has facilitated Parents Centre antenatal classes since 2001 and finds it an honour to be involved with a group of expectant parents and be part of that very special and intimate time in their lives. In June 2010, she facilitated Parents Centre’s parenting programme in four prisons in the Wellington and Manawatu regions. She now works as the Parent Education and Operations Manager at the National Support Centre and helps support Parents Centres throughout Aotearoa.
