First Aid for Babies and Toddlers

Mini First Aid is proud to team up with Wellington North Parents Centre to deliver First Aid for Babies and Toddlers.

This 2-hour course is packed with information and practical hands on learning, with handouts to take away with you. We have designed the course for parents and caregivers to develop their confidence and knowledge in dealing with their child in a medical emergency.

Our trainer has over 15 years’ experience as a paramedic and can relate the content to real life situations.

Topics include:

• Paediatric Choking and CPR
• Meningitis, Burns
• Respiratory Illness
• Head Injuries
• Febrile Convulsions
• Accidental Poisoning
• Anatomical Differences between the age groups.

This course is held at Onslow Community Church, 4 Ngatoto St, Ngaio on a Wednesday from 6.30pm to 8.30pm
