Cassie joined the Parents Centre Board in December 2022. Cassie is a public relations and communications professional in the telecommunications and digital services sector. She brings with her experience in managing a range of high profile external and internal campaigns across the technology, FMCG and retail sector, as well as nearly a decade of experience in crisis management, media relations, strategic communications, and stakeholder relations. 

Her expertise and strategic counsel have been recognised by the industry, earning her the Sally Logan-Milne Young New Zealand PR Practitioner of the year award in 2019. 

As someone who became a parent at a young age, Cassie has a deep passion for supporting and empowering others on their parenting journey, particularly young parents.

Outside of her professional career, Cassie is also an active mentor to young budding practitioners and volunteers for the Community Comms Collective. She lives in Auckland with her husband and her two daughters, aged twelve and three.
