Kirsty joined the Parents Centre Board in November 2020 and brings with her local Parents Centre knowledge as well as a varied mix of professional and personal experience

Most of Kirsty’s career has been in Corporate Finance both in New Zealand and in the UK.  Key roles included Credit Underwriting, Policy and more recently Training and Change Management.

After taking extended Maternity Leave and returning to NZ, Kirsty joined local Parents Centre, Bays North Harbour and did a number of volunteer roles.  This included Co-President for 3 years and during that time Bays North Harbour won ‘Centre of the Year’ in 2019.

That same year, Kirsty established her own business called ‘Sign & Rhyme’, teaching families how to use key Signs with babies and toddlers to help them communicate earlier & more effectively.  

Kirsty is passionate about helping people and is looking forward to positively contributing to Parents Centre and its families.
